IMPORTANT NOTICES:
I cannot emphasise enough that we are on a tight schedule to complete the
festival successfully in the booking time and, therefore, your support and
efficiency in managing your girls is very much appreciated. We go at the
pace of the slowest match, so please keep your game moving!
Please get your teams ready to play at every match, and every changeover,
with toss already completed, first batting pairs ready, opening bowler
ready, fielders in position, umpires and scorers ready, next pair coming in
as soon as the previous pair has finished.
There is no time for team talks at innings change overs. If you want to
have a team talk, please do it when you are not involved in a match.
There are no breaks for food. Food and drink must be taken when you are
off the pitch.
Please make sure that you have bats and at the end of each match, the match
ball is left at the bowling end wicket.
We will operate matches without bails, as putting bails on the stumps is
time consuming!
At no time should the ‘courts’ be empty of players and match play!
Behind schedule: If we are running behind time, then matches
will be reduced to 3 ball overs, and possibly 2 ball overs.
Presentations: These will take place in the foyer. There are medals for
the winners and runners up. Teams finishing in lower positions may leave
early.
Your cooperation is much appreciated in giving the girls a successful,
efficient and enjoyable cricket festival. If you have any queries, do not
hesitate to get in touch. Please let me know in advance who is looking
after your girls and how many girls you are bringing. Please note that it
is harder and takes more time to manage more than a squad of six and you are
advised to plan ahead accordingly.
